That’s why trying to find an ideal location and setting up all the necessary props might not be something you’re looking forward to doing. As a proposal photographer in Amsterdam, it is my job to help capture the moment when someone pops the question! I love being a part of such a special memory. My goal is to make sure that the photos reflect the joy and excitement of the couple.
I typically work with couples who are planning to propose in Amsterdam, and we will discuss the details of the shoot beforehand. Getting to know my clients is very important so that I can understand their vision for the photos. And I always make sure to get a few shots of the couple before they pop the question. This helps to capture their personalities and relationship dynamic. However if it is a suprise proposal there won’t be any portraits taken before. Then I hide in plain side pretending to be a tourist taking snaps of Amsterdam.
When it comes time for the proposal, I will be there to document every moment. Getting shots of the initial proposal is key, as well as the couple’s reaction after they’ve been proposed to. It’s such a special moment, and I’m so honored to be able to capture it for my clients!
The proposal will always be captured in a candid and unposed or unforced way. Getting plenty of candid shots during portrait session is what make my pictures look fun and natural. Because that is what they are.
Taking still images of a ring is not my thing but incorporating it into the moment is what makes the ring meaningful. Like this I can make sure that the ring and the moment can be remembered forever.
