Portrait photographer Amsterdam

As a fervent walker (thanks to my dachshund Sonic) I met quite a few people along the way.
I don’t meet only nice people but also see beautiful spots in my immediate surroundings. Usually, I keep my phone on silent and just enjoy the air and nature. Before I had a dog I rarely walked, to be honest. However, there are days where I cannot wait for my long and relaxing walk with my dog.

One of the persons I enjoyed walking with is Desiree. We actually know each other from our workouts at the local CrossFit Box. She told me that she enjoys walking too (she even drives an hour to the best walking spots) and that she’d like to walk with me. As she needed also some new headshots and content for her own business we made a walk and shoot experience of our Sunday walk.

We chose the Gaasperplas as our ‘venue’ (gosh I miss weddings). We both live close to this spot and I could also bring my dog along and leave him sniff around off-leash. It’s a nice walking area with a little lake on the outskirts of Amsterdam. Lots of green and different paths and trees. Since Desiree is very connected to nature and its elements we really needed to bring this back in the look and feel of the portraits. And this spot provided!
