A love shoot in Amsterdam

Ira and her husband did not go to the Seychelles or traveled around the world. The Malaysian couple decided to go for the first time to Europe. They visited London, Paris and Italy and ended their incredible tour with love shoot in Amsterdam. I was thrilled and honored to make it happen for them. Usually a couple want’s the iconic Grachten houses at the background but we dived right into some of the busiest streets in Amsterdam. Central Station, Damrak, Kalverstraat, Rembrandtplein and Waterlooplein. I really had a lot of fun with them. I love to tell my couple who are not locals facts about Amsterdam and something about the history of the Netherlands. Tourists don’t really hear my accent and I feel like a real Dutch woman 🙂

Ira and Isaac had spent their first day on the same route the photo shoot was about to go along. I asked them if they would be fine to skip the previously discussed route and dive into tourist haven instead. They were very enthusiastic about it. And I decided to not look at my watch and just spent some time with the very kind couple.

The Dam, as most people know, is a very crowded area in Amsterdam. But it has also some resting spots that we used to take a picture and also be free enough to change poses. This allowed me to move around without waiting for other people to pass the scene. As we walked down the Kalverstraat, which is one of the busiest shopping streets in the Netherlands, it got very crowded. However also here are many side streets, called steg in dutch, that we could use. This love shoot in Amsterdam was therefore also for me a very genuine experience that I will try and do more often.
